GOAL
Every student is matched with the resources they
need to succeed.
Pillar 4 ensures that Maryland schools have the resources needed to support every student’s success.
It focuses on expanded student support services, including counseling, mental health care, and
strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism. Pillar 4 establishes Community Schools that partner
with local organizations to provide comprehensive wraparound supports and create a supportive
environment where all students can thrive and overcome barriers to learning.
