A Proud Farewell: Celebrating CTE Completers with Cords, Pins, and a Final
Walk Through SCTHS
Each year, senior CTE completers return to Somerset County Technical High School for
a special send-off, proudly receiving their CTE completer cords and, new this year,
custom Industry Recognized Credential pins representing their hard-earned
certifications. Surrounded by cheering families, friends, teachers, and peers, students
took one final walk through the halls to the sound of "Pomp and Circumstance,"
celebrating their achievements and the lasting impact of their CTE experience. CTE
completers had a graduation rate of 98%, significantly higher than the county-wide
average.
