MCPS Apprenticeships Launch Students Directly into the Workforce
Montgomery County Public Schools celebrated student success at its May 1
Apprenticeship Commencement, recognizing 41 high school students who
completed a rigorous, employer-based work-learning experience. Through
partnerships with local businesses, students gained hands-on skills, industry
mentorship, and real-world workplace experience while still in school. The impact
was immediate412 graduates transitioned directly into full-time employment with
benefits, demonstrating the power of apprenticeships to create seamless pathways
from classroom to career.
