Welcoming the Next Class: A Strong Start at New Student Orientation
The campus buzzed with fresh energy on August 22nd and 23rd as incoming students
gathered for New Student Orientation. Across two engaging and informative days,
students received their first true introduction to college life4connecting with future
classmates, exploring campus resources, and gaining clarity on the support systems in
place to help them thrive.
Through faculty advising sessions, interactive tours of the library and tutoring centers,
and opportunities to meet campus support teams, students were equipped with the
academic tools they needed to begin their journey with confidence. Financial Aid
representatives also provided personalized guidance to help students navigate
requirements, scholarships, and budgeting. By the end of orientation, students left
feeling prepared, supported, and excited for the year ahead.
